Our Short courses are geared towards a wide variety of individuals looking to develop their skills in Dance and Musical Theatre.
The Dang are invested in helping people from all backgrounds and cultures unearth and pursue their passion for the performing arts. Our part-time courses take this commitment one step further, delivering training in bite-sized chunks so dance and musical theatre are accessible to everyone.
COURSES
Dang Associates
For students aged 10 to 18
Dang Associates offers training in Dance and Musical Theatre for talented young students who wish to enhance and develop their pre-vocational skills.
This programme is a unique opportunity to work alongside other like-minded, passionate and highly motivated students and to experience a professional level of training. The faculty includes teachers from The Dang Academy, many of whom have performed in West End shows as well as being highly respected teachers, choreographers, musical directors and performers.
Whilst open to everyone, Dang Associates is a selective course with only a limited number of places available to the most talented applicants.

Summer School
For students aged 10-21
This course is designed to give young students an opportunity to enhance their skills in dance and musical theatre as well as being trained by top professional teachers, many of whom have performed in a variety of West End shows, TV, Music Videos as well as choreographing and directing musicals.
The course runs for 5 days of full out musical theatre and dance training and fun with an opportunity to meet like-minded students!
The programme includes:
- Full-time five-day training
- Training in Dance including ballet, jazz and specialised dance workshops
- Training in Musical Theatre including singing and specialised musical theatre workshops
- Developing your skills in the performing arts
Please note the Summer School is a non-residential course. Where necessary, students should organise their own accommodation.

Pre-Audition
For students aged 15-21
Designed to prepare students to audition for full-time vocational colleges. The course consists of 4 days of audition coaching in dance and musical theatre culminating into a mock audition on the 5th day. Once the course has finished students will receive feedback from each of their teachers giving points and tips to work on before going on to audition. The course is taught mainly by our full-time courses faculty who are regularly found on audition panels.
Feedback from former students has been very positive, with many successfully gaining places in full-time performing arts training.
Please note the Pre-Audition is a non-residential course. Where necessary, students should organise their own accommodation.
